Life changes, in fact, life is a lot about changes. There is a lot going on in the world today. More and more people are being empowered with Internet Access and getting online for themselves and their family-friends. Along with all these changes a lot of people are distracted by meaningless entertainment and fruitless pursuits in their lives.

Our common denominator as humane beings should be humane rights and the struggles related to humane rights. These rights are sacred to us as a species and include the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

We must protect our rights by exercising them in our daily lives, by using our freedom of speech, freedom of creation, freedom of thought and even our freedom to disagree with government and the powers-that-be. In relation to exercising our humane rights there are many social issues and social struggles going on today that we should be aware of in our humane consciousness. We cannot simply talk about humane rights, we must also take part in direct community action in our own personal lives.

Ideally, we want to help mobilize the masses of people of all races-ethnicities, all so-called nations and all orientations. We are one species of life upon Mother Earth. Our basic needs for life are universal and common to all humane beings: food, clothing, shelter, medical care and quality education. We should strive to raise consciousness based upon our common needs and those life issues that we have in common.

Even when we may disagree with each other over various issues, such as, the right to abortion, the death penalty, the right of undocumented immigrants to be here inside the U.S.A. and other humane rights issues, we should continue to respect each other and our right to expression. We do not have to agree about 'everything' but we should communicate with mutual respect for each other as humane beings.

The ideal of us being humane beings, as distinct from being merely a human being, is based upon the definition of a humane being as one who have care, concern and compassion for all of life. A mere human being can be simply an ignorant two-legged carnivorous mammal. A humane being is the result of our natural evolution as a species. I for one believe that, beyond reform, a true social transformation is essential to help us survive our current endangered species status. In other words, revolution is the ultimate solution.

I have my own ideas and ideals that do not necessarily represent the various opinions of all people who are in this Group, but that is OK. When our truths are the same or in agreement there can be harmony. However, when we disagree we should disagree with each other in a respectful and honorable way.

Do not be afraid to disagree with others because the fear that is common to many is one of the negatives that we must overcome in our collective minds. For sure do not be paranoid about being 'politically correct' but be more aware of being socially and humanely correct with a mind for the truth and justice.

I am myself a believer in a Great Creator ~ commonly known as God but could also as well be referred to as Goddess. The Creator has no actual sexual gender. However, whether you are a believer or not, let us believe in basic common humane principles: sincere love, deep understanding, helping others and being for real with people with whom we come into contact with ~whether online or elsewhere~ in our lives.

Feel free to post issues related to humane rights from the News or submit your own articles. Use your imagination. Create a video, create your own blog and remember to always leave Links for us to follow when appropriate. Learn about the World Wide Web, how to do Internet Navigation and even learn some basic computer repair. We are here to learn from each other, we are here to help create a sense of community ~if only an online community.

There is a Chat Room option so that those of us who are online at that website can have real time communication with each other. I love Yahoo Group but it does have its limitations. Thus, the 'ning.com' platform for social networking.
