| Women's Empowerment Graduates 600th Formerly Homeless Woman Tomorrow We have reached a major milestone! Tomorrow, we will graduate the 600th woman from our program. Our first class was held in 2001, graduating just 10 women. Since that first pilot class, Women's Empowerment has expanded to become this year's Nonprofit of the Year, and now, we watch the 600th formerly homeless woman step up to the podium to share her story of change. She will be joined by 22 other women receiving certificates of completion tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9 at 10:00 A.M. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
