AD/HD AWARENESS WEEK
SEPTEMBER 14-20, 2008
FROM FIRST YEARS to GOLDEN YEARS:
AD/HD and LIFE'S RELATIONSHIPS
Dear ADDA Friend,

In recognition of AD/HD Awareness Week (September 14- 20) ADDA has joined forces with the Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), and ADDitude Magazine to raise the public's understanding of the impact that AD/HD can have on personal relationships throughout an individual's lifetime.

This year's theme- "From First Years to Golden Years: AD/HD and Life's Relationships" - focuses on the key times in one's life that AD/HD poses relationship challenges and provides resources and recommendations for addressing them. Areas addressed through this year's awareness campaign include childhood, college, workplace interactions, romantic relationships and adulthood.

In support of this important week, ADDA encourages you to do your own part to increase awareness. To assist, ADDA has prepared an Awareness Toolkit so you can assist ADDA in its AD/HD awareness efforts.

Visit www.add.org/awareness to find out how you can join our awareness campaign by displaying this year's campaign poster, organizing an awareness event in your community, encouraging local media outlets to cover this important health issue.

Join ADDA as we raise AD/HD awareness and empower AD/HD individuals to live full and successful lives!
Also, plan to attend one or all of the special Teleclasses being offered during Awareness Week. See the schedule below.

Sincerely,
The Attention Deficit Disorder Association
