See: "Struggle and Liberation" Photography Exhibit at Carlottas Passion Opening June 9th

Junio 01, 2007 ~ Gracias Companero Roberto~
Being up here in Sacramento, Califas I myself will not be able to make it but I got the information and original attachment. I will pass this on to others. There is always a lot of good cultural and educational events happening in the Los Angeles area.

It is true that much was gained and advanced in the 1960's and 1970's, but we know the struggle continues and much of the progress was reverted and retarded by the Evil Powers of Corporate Capitalism under Amerikan Fascism.
We have Elder Rudy Cuellar here in the Sacra area who has taken a lot of great photos over the years, especially of the early days of the UFW and the now dormant Chicano Movement.
Photography and other forms of creating, expressing and distributing images, words and sounds must be harnassed better by social activists in the times to come as we keep in mind the five ordinary sense-organs of human beings.
We will have to utilize our wild imagination, daring bold initiative and be innovators without waiting for approval by anyone in order to further advance what we should clearly see as a People's Liberation War. Decisive action makes the frontlines!
People are suffering and dying now who could be saved! Keep up the good work and may your blessings abound.
