Welcome to the Humane-Rights-Agenda Yahoo Group!

I believe that if we learn to use the Internet wisely and post relevant news articles, analyses and information about what is going on in the real world about humane rights in general we can all learn from each other and help raise our collective mass consciousness.
So much of our news is channeled and filtered in ways that end up shaping public opinion and fortifying the super-rich ruling circles on a global level.
I believe it is important for all of us to understand what it means to be truly humane, as distinct from being a mere two-legged animal with no humane compassion for others who suffer under the boot of authoritarianism in whatever form from whatever government that may be in power.
A humane being will naturally have care, concern and true compassion for all living beings wherever they are at here now upon Mother Earth.
We have many people in this group from different parts of the world and this creates an ideal forum for people sharing with each other about current events and other aspects of what I term connected reality.
What is going on in India? What are the people in the streets talking about? What are the priorities for the humane rights movement inside India?
