Bin Laden Warns of Attacks, Offers Truce+ Comment: Thursday, January 19, 2006

CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Jazeera aired an audiotape purportedly from Osama bin Laden on Thursday, saying al-Qaida is making preparations for attacks in the United States but offering a truce to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan. The voice on the tape said heightened security measures in the United States are not the reason there have been no attacks there since the Sept. 11, 2001, suicide hijackings.

Instead, the reason is "because there are operations that need preparations, and you will see them," he said.

"Based on what I have said, it is better not to fight the Muslims on their land," he said. "We do not mind offering you a truce that is fair and long-term. ... So we can build Iraq and Afghanistan ... there is no shame in this solution because it prevents wasting of billions of dollars ... to merchants of war."

The speaker did not give conditions for a truce in the excerpts aired by the Arab broadcaster.

Comment: As humane liberationists we must, on balance, condemn all arbitrary unjust terrorist attacks against the innocents anywhere in the world including the basic evilness of Osama bin Laden. Along with this condemnation we must also condemn the international terrorism of Fuhrer Bush and the entire Bushwack Gang in the Oval Office Cabal.

In a sick twisted way Bush and Osama have become crime partners… one feeds off the misdeeds of the other. Where would Fuhrer Bush be without what happened on that tragic Tuesday of 9-11-01?

A lot of so-called Left-wing activists have failed to make the clear-cut distinction between evil and arbitrary armed terrorism by anyone and the defensive/offensive violence of true legitimate guerrilla warfare in situations wherein no legal redress of grievances is possible by Liberation Forces because of Fascist State Repression. These crucial matters should be carefully explained to the masses of people, our supporters and our followers of the Truth. Let the clarity of a humane consciousness dispel clouds of confusion.

Terrorism from any source is evil, is wrong and should be condemned. We will never defeat our Evil Enemies without holding firm onto a strong set of humane values, ethics and morals under all occasions and all circumstances. It is our humane values that is the key difference between our Evil Enemies and us. We must stand upon solid humane revolutionary principles, not lower ourselves to the degenerate level of the Evil Ones we oppose.
